THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BUENA PARK

* Waverly Place: A report of a dog going into a neighbor’s yard and being shot by the neighbor with a BB gun was made at 4:48 p.m. Saturday.

* El Cerro Drive: A compact disc player, backpack and wallet were reported stolen from a vehicle at 12:46 p.m. Saturday.

* Crescent Avenue: A report of an automobile window being smashed was made at 8:52 a.m. Saturday.

CYPRESS

* Bishop Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 5200 block at 12:33 a.m. Monday.

* Orange Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 4900 block at 12:59 p.m. Monday.

DANA POINT

* La Cresta Drive: A car was burglarized at 1 p.m. Sunday in the 24000 block. The suspect reportedly stole the radio, a computer and some compact discs.

* Street of the Golden Lantern: A thief cut the lock on a flower refrigeration unit and stole a dozen roses at 10:10 a.m. Sunday in the 32000 block.

* Street of the Green Lantern: A 22-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in the 34000 block.

* Street of the Silver Lantern: Deputies responded to a reported burglary attempt at 2:15 p.m. Sunday in the 33000 block. The suspect turned out to be a friend of the owner who had permission to enter the house.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Durango River Court: Someone stole gas from a car parked in the 10200 block at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.

* Warner Avenue: Someone broke into a business in the 8800 block at 8:52 a.m. Tuesday and stole computer equipment.

GARDEN GROVE

* Harbor Boulevard: A Paramount man and juvenile were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery in the 13000 block at 12:40 a.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Forest Avenue: A man was arrested on a $10,000 outstanding warrant for possessing child pornography in the 500 block at 1:18 p.m. Thursday.

* South Coast Highway: A red Toyota pickup truck parked on private property was towed away in the 100 block at 1:27 p.m. Thursday.

* South Coast Highway: A red two-door Ford Explorer parked on private property was towed away in the 100 block at 2:38 p.m. Thursday.

* South Coast Highway: A 100-pound sea lion was found dead on the beach in the 500 block at 3:12 p.m. Thursday.

LA PALMA

* Walker Street: A robbery was reported in the 8100 block at 1:02 a.m. Tuesday.

* Fir Circle: A robbery was reported in the 5500 block at 8:14 p.m. Sunday.

ORANGE

* Northbound Esplanade: A drunk driver was reported at 12:54 a.m. Tuesday.

PLACENTIA

* Bradford Avenue at Chapman Avenue: A reckless driver was reported at 11:23 a.m. Monday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida La Pata: A 48-year-old man was cited for having an open container of alcohol in his car at Richard Steed Memorial Park at 8 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block.

* Avenida La Pata: A 25-year-old man was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana at 12:10 a.m. Sunday near the Calle Extremo intersection.

* Camino de los Mares: A 17-year-old man was arrested after stealing three bottles of beer from a Ralphs grocery store at 12:25 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block.

* Camino Vera Cruz: A woman reported that several propane stoves and chairs were stolen from a tent on a construction site at 9:25 a.m. Sunday near the Sarmentoso intersection.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Alipaz Street: A woman reported that a neighbor was shooting off rockets and fireworks near the Rancho del Avion Mobile Home Park at 1:40 p.m. Sunday in the 32000 block. The suspect left before deputies arrived.

* Del Obispo Street: An 85-year-old woman was reported standing on a street corner and appearing confused at 11:10 a.m. Sunday near the Forster Street intersection. When deputies made contact with her, she said she was waiting for her granddaughter to meet her for lunch.

SANTA ANA

* Grand Avenue: A report of a petty theft in the 10000 block at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Livingston Street: A car was reported stolen in the 14000 block at 8:04 a.m. Saturday.

VILLA PARK

* Center Drive: A traffic accident was reported in the 10000 block at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday. There were no injuries.

YORBA LINDA

* Abbey Glen: A report of a missing juvenile was taken in the 26000 block at 2:04 a.m. Monday.

* Lakeview Avenue: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 5000 block at 9:47 a.m. Monday.

* Liverpool Street: A burglary was reported in the 4800 block at 8:51 a.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Brea, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Habra, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Westminster and Yorba Linda.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s incorporated areas.
