In other men’s games:

Saddleback 65, Orange Coast 63--Garreth Read blocked a shot with one second left to help Saddleback (21-9, 9-4) hold on. Saddleback remains tied with Riverside in second place, a game behind Santa Ana. The Gauchos are at Riverside Friday.

Irvine Valley 80, Fullerton 77 (OT)--Earl Sanchez made a bank shot with eight seconds remaining in regulation to tie the score for Irvine Valley, then hit two free throws with 11 seconds remaining in overtime to give Irvine Valley (19-10, 8-5) a three-point lead. The Lasers have won five in a row.

In women’s games:

Irvine Valley 72, Fullerton 63--Dawn Regan had 24 points and 13 rebounds and Jennifer O’Keefe scored 16 points for host Irvine Valley (21-8, 10-3).

Missy Bynon had 24 points, including five three-pointers, and five steals for Fullerton (17-15, 4-9).

Orange Coast 64, Saddleback 60--Shauna Steward (22 points) made five three-pointers to lead visiting Orange Coast (25-5, 9-4). Karyn Fierst hit four three-pointers and had 15 points for the Pirates.

Santa Ana 95, Cypress 66--Atari Parker scored 37 points, including five three-pointers, and had eight assists and five steals for visiting Santa Ana (26-2, 13-0), which has won 16 in a row.

Stephanie Patten scored 24 and Lisa Arcangel had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Santa Ana.

Triana Allen scored 23 points and Sharee Brown had 22 points and 16 rebounds for Cypress.

Riverside 74, Golden West 61--Kelly Median scored 15 points for visiting Golden West (17-11, 4-8).

In nonconference men’s golf:

Irvine Valley wins--Nick Petralia shot a three-over 74 and teammate Travis Currier had a 78 for Irvine Valley, which had a score of 399 to win a four-team event over Palomar (413), Santiago Canyon (416) and Cuyamaca (419) at Oak Creek Golf Course.
