Tony Aparicio
Calvary Chapel, Wrestling
Aparicio dominated his weight class at the Five Counties wrestling tournament Saturday at Fountain Valley High, winning two of his 140-pound matches by fall, one by technical fall and his championship match against Juan Serna of Santa Ana by a 16-6 major decision. For Aparicio, a senior who transferred from Loara to Calvary Chapel last fall, this is his first title at the prestigious 55-team tournament.

Bolsa Grande, Basketball
James had 38 points and 24 rebounds to lead Bolsa Grande to its eighth straight victory, 79-68 over Rancho Alamitos.
* Spencer George
Santa Margarita, Soccer
George had three goals and an assist in Serra League victories over Bellflower St. John Bosco and Mater Dei.
Kimberly Noble
San Clemente, Basketball
After helping San Clemente upset top-ranked Brea Olinda 10 days ago, Noble strung together three more solid performances against eighth-ranked El Toro, Dana Hills and Huntington Beach. Noble scored 17 points against El Toro, including a putback with 13 seconds remaining that gave San Clemente a three-point lead. Noble also had 19 points and 20 rebounds against Huntington Beach and 14 points against Dana Hills.

Capistrano Valley, Soccer
Greco scored the only goal in 1-0 victory over No. 2 Mission Viejo, giving the No. 1 Cougars the edge in the league race.
* Jaqui DeLeon
Trabuco Hills, Soccer
DeLeon’s goal in the 70th minute gave the Mustangs a 2-1 upset over Mission Viejo in a South Coast League game.
