Driver Is Sought in Fatal Hit-Run
Laguna Beach police have asked for the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a woman in a crosswalk Tuesday night.
A light-colored Ford Ranger struck the woman as she was crossing in the 200 block of Cliff Drive about 6 p.m., Laguna Beach Police Capt. Paul Workman said.
Elisabeth Stock, 65, of Laguna Beach was transported to South Coast Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead of her injuries, officials said.
The Ranger had damage to the right side of its front end, police said, and left a headlight cover at the scene.
Police ask anyone with information to call (949) 497-0701.
