THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* West Beacon Street: A battery was reported in the 1100 block at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday.

* East Carbon Canyon Road: An injury traffic accident was reported in the 5700 block at 7:37 a.m. Wednesday.

* South Orange Avenue: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 300 block at 7:16 p.m. Wednesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: A man stole a bottle of tequila from a Ralphs store in the 18400 block at 1:39 p.m. Tuesday.

* Brookhurst Street: A woman stole $67 worth of products from a GNC store in the 16100 block at 11:41 a.m. Tuesday.

* San Luis Street: Someone kicked in the front door of a residence in the 17300 block and stole $165 worth of property at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday.

FULLERTON

* Associated Road: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2000 block at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday.

* Milton Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 2600 block at 1:37 a.m. Thursday.

* North Placentia Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 900 block at 11:09 p.m. Wednesday.

* West Commonwealth Avenue: Police responded to a report of a problem with a transient in the 3600 block at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday.

LA HABRA

* West Mountain View Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 100 block at 2:04 a.m. Tuesday.

* South Norma Street: A prowler was reported in the 300 block at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday.

* Whittier Boulevard and Euclid Avenue: A disturbance of the peace was reported at 2:12 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Whittier Boulevard: A prowler was reported in the 1400 block at 11:25 p.m. Monday.

PLACENTIA

* Chapman/Placentia avenues: A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported at 4:21 p.m. Wednesday.

* South Jefferson Street: A burglary was reported in the 600 block at 5:06 a.m. Wednesday.

* Rose Drive/Alta Vista Street: An indecent exposure was reported at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday.

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 1000 block at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday.

VILLA PARK

* Orchard Lane: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 9000 block at 1:46 a.m. Thursday.

YORBA LINDA

* Christopher Drive: A report of a missing person in the 5400 block was made at 9:13 p.m. Wednesday.

* Cranberry Lane: A report of a missing person in the 20300 block was made at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday.

* Fairmont Boulevard/Glenhaven Drive: A petty theft was reported at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the following communities: Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Midway City, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Rossmoor, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Sunset Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and unincorporated areas.
