Mayor’s Conduct Needs Scrutiny
* Huntington Beach Mayor Dave Garofalo’s current problems are not about Bolsa Chica as he claims (Letters, July 9).
After all, other council members such as Pam Julian also support development of the Bolsa Chica mesa, and she is not the subject of any investigations. No, Mr. Garofalo, your problems are due to the fact that you have accepted money in advertising revenue and then voted on projects that benefited the advertisers. This is called a conflict of interest.
