* Update--The Mustangs know what the Avengers are trying to accomplish. Last year, Milwaukee began the season 0-5 but came back to make the playoffs. That’s the biggest starting deficit for a playoff team in Arena Football League history. The Avengers are trying to overcome a 0-7 start this season. Both teams are among seven squads fighting for the last two playoff berths. But Milwaukee has lost five of its last six games. The Avengers, meantime, are surging, having won two in a row and three of the past four. The Avengers also added to their roster receiver-defensive backs Delvin Myles and Damien Groce, waiving Corey Johnson and placing Ken Haslip on injured reserve.
