Buena Park Football Coach Saiz Resigns
Manny Saiz, Buena Park’s football coach for the past four seasons, resigned Tuesday for personal reasons, Athletic Director Dan Hirsch said.
Saiz, 32, compiled a 12-8 league record and led the Coyotes to the first round of the playoffs in three of his four seasons.
“His dedication will be missed,” Hirsch said. “He did a lot of work in the weight room and did a lot of fund-raising and was hard-working in his four years. We wish him luck.”

Savanna High has hired Juan Villa to be its boys’ soccer coach, Athletic Director Larry Anderson said.
He replaces Jose de la Cruz, who resigned at the end of the season. Villa, 28, formerly coached at Cerritos High.
