In another Sea View League game:
Laguna Hills 7, Irvine 3--Jackie Eliades had three hits, scored two runs and stole a base and Jennifer Von Pohlmann singled and had three RBIs for visiting Laguna Hills (18-9, 5-3). Fourth-place Irvine (15-10, 3-4) must beat Woodbridge to have a chance at a playoff berth.
In the Golden West League:
Tustin 5, Santa Ana 0--Diana La Riva pitched a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts as host Tustin (13-10-1, 10-1) clinched the league title. Only one batter, via catcher interference, reached base for second-place Santa Ana (10-11, 7-4).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Costa Mesa 3, Corona Del Mar 0--Brooke Shanley pitched a four-hitter and Lacey Ferris and Nicole Spunaugle hit home runs for the Mustangs (9-11, 6-4).
Northwood 7, Laguna Beach 5--The Timberwolves (16-2, 10-0) won the league title in their first season. Allyson Pizula and Kimiko Ferrante each had two hits.
University 9, Estancia 1--Visiting University (9-16, 7-3) clinched second place. Tiffany Waldman pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and Jenny Jones had a triple, a single and drove in a run for the Trojans.
