Titans’ Gromacki Named Big West Coach of Year
Cal State Fullerton’s Michelle Gromacki was named Big West Conference softball coach of the year Tuesday.
Gromacki, in her first year as coach of the Titans, guided her team to the conference championship, the school’s first outright title since 1986. The Titans have won 44 games and have a .722 winning percentage heading into the NCAA Regionals this week.
Named to the all-conference first team were Cal State Fullerton pitcher Christy Robitaille, second-baseman Kristy Osborne, third-baseman Dara Marzolo, outfielder Yasmin Mossadeghi, and designated player Brenda Iglesias.
