DIVISION II

Hart 6, Calexico 4--Bill Susdorf had three hits, five runs batted in and earned his 11th save for the Indians at Calexico (16-9).

Jamie Shields (5-1) struck out eight, walked two and allowed two runs in six innings.

Susdorf hit a 430-foot, two-run home run. He has 40 hits and 40 RBIs.

Shields, Mike Miller and Ryan Haag each contributed two hits. The No. 2-seeded Indians (23-5) finished with 12 hits.

Thousand Oaks 4, Irvine Woodbridge 1--Chris Cordeiro scattered seven hits and struck out seven while giving up one earned run to spark the third-seeded Lancers at Irvine Woodbridge.

Adam Leavitt had two doubles, an RBI and scored once, and Brent Schilhab had a double and scored once for Thousand Oaks (23-6).

La Mirada 6, Palmdale 5--The Matadors (21-7) capitalized on four errors to score five unearned runs in the final two innings and pull out a second-round Division II victory at La Mirada.

Robert Arellano hit a two-run home run and Dana Eveland added a two-run single for Palmdale (19-7), which led, 5-1, going into the sixth inning.

DIVISION III

Westlake 12, Paso Robles 3--Junior Tyler Adamczyk scattered six hits and struck out five in six innings, and the Warriors scored nine runs in the seventh at Paso Robles.

Ryan McCarthy had two hits, including a solo home run, and scored three times, Jon Shepard had three hits, two RBIs and scored once for Westlake (24-3).

Jesse Kozlowski hit a two-run single and Paso Robles (16-12) issued three bases-loaded walks in the seventh.

DIVISION V

St. Bonaventure 7, Pasadena Poly 2--Tucker Bennett pitched five shutout innings and had a home run and a singlefor the top-seeded Seraphs at St. Bonaventure.

Tucker (7-0) allowed three hits, struck out three and walked one.

Billy Owczarski had two hits, including a two-run triple, for the Seraphs (18-4-1).

Downey Calvary Chapel 5, Campbell Hall 4--The Vikings rallied from a 5-1 deficit, scoring three runs in the final three innings, but left the tying run on second base in the seventh and fell to the Grizzlies at Biola University.

Campbell Hall (17-8) had runners on first and second with two out in the seventh, but Keyah Behnia grounded out,

Aaron Kerr had three hits and drove in a run for the Vikings.

Paraclete 5, Montclair Prep 1--Jason Brown pitched a five-hitter and hit a home run in the first, but the Spirits lost at the Mission Hills Senior Little League Complex.

Paraclete (10-14) took a 4-0 lead in the fourth on a bases-loaded walk and two-run single by Joe Rispaud.

Montclair Prep narrowed its deficit to 4-1 on a home run by Seth Epstein in the bottom of the inning.

Epstein (5-3) allowed only two hits in 5 1/3 innings, but he walked 11.

Village Christian 11, Bishop Union 6--Clint Hamblin had three doubles, an RBI and scored twice for the Crusaders in a victory at Bishop Union.

Albert Quintana (3-3) scattered eight hits and struck out five for Village Christian (16-5).

Quintana had two hits, two RBIs and scored twice.

Jason Stauffer had two hits and four RBIs, and Warren Branum had three hits, two RBIs and scored twice for the Crusaders.

Carpinteria 10, Lancaster Desert Christian 6--David Lamar hit a two-run home run and Tano Vega hit a solo homer for the the Warriors in a victory at Carpinteria.

Bailey DiIoia drove in three runs for Carpinteria (15-6).

Tyler Downie hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning for Desert Christian (20-3)

DIVISION VI

Grace Brethren 11, Victor Valley Christian 0--Shawn McClain hit a three-run home run and Christian Burkhardt added three RBIs for the the Hawks (20-4) at Grace Brethren.

Victor Valley finished 12-9.

Faith Baptist 4, Viewpoint 0--Fernando Velasquez pitched a two-hitter striking out 12 for the Contenders (18-6) at Faith Baptist.

Nick Fries pitched a three-hitter and struck out 12 in a losing effort for the Patriots (11-7).

Thacher 13, Dunn 1--Alfred English (2-1) allowed one hit and no earned runs in six innings, striking out six in a victory at Dunn.

Charlie Munzig had two hits and two RBIs, and Matt Cohen and Michael Back each had two RBIs for the Toads (9-7).
