Dark Delicacies, 4213 W. Burbank Blvd., Burbank, will hold a multiple signing tonight. Horror editor Stephen Jones will sign and discuss his three latest anthologies: “The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror 11,” “Dark Terrors 5” and “The Essential Monster Movie Guide.” Also on hand will be several authors whose works are included in the books, such as Roberta Lannes, Dennis Etchison, Mick Garris and Forrest J. Ackerman. Festivities start at 7 p.m. Celebrity psychic Kenny Kingston will discuss and sign his book, “I Still Talk to . . . “ at 2 p.m. Saturday. The New Short Fiction Series, which bills itself as “L.A.’s only live literary magazine,” presents “Jacaranda Heaven” and other stories by Allison Johnson at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lankershim Arts Center, 5108 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood. A former Valley resident, Johnson is an Orange County journalist whose work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times and Orange Coast magazine. She recently completed “The Way Home,” a novel set in Palm Springs. Featured Tuesday will be spoken-word artist Sally Shore and guest performers Barbara Keegan, Jamie Mitchell and Tripp Pickell. $10.
