Haskins Wants Ruling Changed

Former Minnesota coach Clem Haskins has filed an appeal with the NCAA, asking it to reconsider a ruling that bars him from coaching until 2007 without special approval.
The NCAA banned Haskins from taking an athletics-related college job unless that school could “show cause” before the infractions committee that Haskins should be hired.
Haskins has denied any wrongdoing in the widespread cheating scandal that surfaced in March 1999 at Minnesota.
