Capistrano Valley Christian 42, Campbell Hall 14--Derrick Williams had four receptions for 88 yards, including a 64-yard catch in the fourth quarter, for Campbell Hall (3-2) in an Academy League opener at Birmingham High.
He also had a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter that gave the Vikings a 7-6 lead.
Matt Kaplan completed eight of 18 passes for 114 yards and had three fumbles for Campbell Hall.
Capistrano Valley Christian (4-2), which led, 28-7, at halftime, out-gained Campbell Hall, 412 yards to 172. It finished with 272 yards rushing, including 129 yards and three touchdowns by Jamie Bray.
Blake Lichtig rushed for 69 yards in 13 carries and had two catches for 13 yards for the Vikings.
