St. Bernard 25, Crespi 15--Robert Landrum’s 73-yard kickoff return for a touchdown pulled Crespi within three points in the fourth quarter, but St. Bernard recovered an onside kick and scored a late touchdown to hold on at Crespi.
After Landrum’s touchdown and a two-point conversion pass from Will Jacoby to Derrick O’Dwyer pulled the Celts within 18-15 with 3:50 to play, Crespi appeared to recover an onside kick.
But the Celts (0-7) were penalized on the play and forced to kick again. St. Bernard recovered at the Crespi 41 and drove for a touchdown, a seven-yard run by Niegel Clements with 2:06 to play.
