Newbury Park 44, Simi Valley 0--Marcus Crawford rushed for 206 yards and four touchdowns in 25 carries at Newbury Park.
Crawford scored on runs of 13, nine, 34 and five yards. He carried on the first six plays of the game, gaining 62 yards, to drive Newbury Park (3-5, 2-2) to its first score.
Mat Butcher made a school-record 47-yard field goal on the final play of the third quarter to close out the scoring. Butcher also scored on a 26-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Lombardo in the second quarter that gave Newbury Park a 34-0 halftime lead.
The only setback for the Panthers came in the second quarter when Lombardo, a sophomore quarterback, left the game because of a knee injury.
Simi Valley is 0-8, 0-4 in league.
