To ensure that used motor oil is properly disposed of, Anaheim fire officials said residents now can dispose of it at any of 26 household hazardous waste collection centers. For a nearby center, call (714) 765-5262.
Residents also can arrange to have the Fire Department pick up oil drained into sealed plastic containers no larger than five gallons, as well as oil filters and oily rags, by calling (714) 765-4151.
