LAGUNA NIGUEL
City Council members this week named the jacaranda as the official tree and bougainvillea as the official flower of Laguna Niguel.
Council members also approved the purchase of two mobile generator systems for $10,500, which is $500 more than the amount originally budgeted for that equipment. The generator systems would provide the city with emergency power to use phones, lights and computers during a power outage.
