Villa Park (0-0) vs. Valencia (0-0)

7 TONIGHT VALENCIA HIGH

Don’t leave this one early. Last year, Valencia stopped Villa Park on the one-foot line and held on to win in the last four seconds, 20-15. In 1998, Valencia capitalized on a Villa Park fumble to kick a tying field goal in the final minute. But Villa Park might get some revenge this year. The Spartans return 10 starters from a 9-3 team, including the passing combination of John Henry Jackson and Bryan Arguello, both three-year starters. Arguello, the Century League’s MVP last season, is usually good for a big play or two on offense or defense. Valencia was also 9-3 last year, but the Tigers have nine new faces on offense and their top two tacklers on defense graduated.
