Artin Sedighan, a graduate of Viewpoint High, made the football team at California as a walk-on strong safety.
Coach Derek McIntyre of Viewpoint said Sedighan, an All-Heritage League selection who received All-Southern Section honorable mention, is the first player from Viewpoint to make an NCAA Division I-A football team.
