LAKE ELSINORE —
A 68-year-old experienced skydiver died Sunday when her parachute apparently failed to open, authorities said.
“Witnesses said they saw the victim having difficulty during her jump and crashed to the ground,” said Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mark Lohman.
Judy Bieloh of Long Beach was pronounced dead at the scene, said Lohman. She completed more than 1,000 jumps in eight years of skydiving, Lohman said.
