Muir Guard Frazier Commits to Matadors

Share

Joe Frazier, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard for Pasadena Muir High, has committed to Cal State Northridge.

Frazier had scholarship offers from UC Irvine, UC Riverside and Cal State Sacramento.

Northridge also is making a strong bid for All-Southern Section guard Cody Pearson of Notre Dame.

The Matadors will be without one of their top recruits this season, freshman guard Gene Myvett of Littlerock. Myvett is enrolled at Northridge but must sit out the season because he failed to achieve the minimum NCAA qualifying standards.
