Marshall 34, Poly 7--The Barristers (3-1) sacked Poly quarterbacks Zach Sims and Tony Barrigan a total of seven times and limited the Parrots to 110 yards at Poly.
The Parrots (0-4) were held to 64 yards in the first half, when Marshall built a 21-0 lead.
Poly’s only points came after recovering the second-half kickoff at Marshall’s 30. Two plays later, Barrigan passed 23 yards to Tony Smith for a touchdown.
