Re “Fight for Bonds’ Home Run Ball Spills Into Court,” Nov. 27: I think I could explain the rule of law in the U.S., even the intricacies of possession versus ownership, to a citizen of Afghanistan. I wouldn’t be able to explain how a baseball is worth a million dollars.
