Diana Taurasi scored 15 points to lead top-ranked Connecticut to an 88-28 victory over St. John’s in the Big East Conference opener for both teams Tuesday night at Storrs, Conn.

The Huskies (8-0) took a 44-9 halftime lead on the Red Storm (2-6).
