Two months after a man was killed in a Southwest Los Angeles parking lot, police officials have released composite sketches of the suspected killers.

Anthony Hendrickson Jr., 33, was shot several times outside the Baldwin Hills Motor Inn shortly after midnight on Aug. 17, police said.

The killers approached him and a friend in the parking lot and demanded money, police said. They took several hundred dollars in cash and his jewelry before shooting him.

The attackers are suspected of committing at least four other robberies in the Jefferson/LeBrea area of Los Angeles.

One is Latino, 18 or 19 years old with a medium build. On the night of the killing, he wore a light blue baseball cap, multicolored Pendleton shirt and dark pants, officials said. The second suspect is black, 15 to 17 years old with a thin build. He wore a blue bandanna over his head, black coat and black pants, police said.

Det. Rick Gordon said the shooting had a “gang overtone.” According to witnesses, the robbers first asked Hendrickson where he was from.

Hendrickson was survived by his wife Latasha, an 8-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son.
