Point Loma (1-11) at Pepperdine (4-5), 7, KPLS (830)--Jim Harrick’s return to Pepperdine didn’t go as planned for the Waves, who were outmuscled in a 91-74 loss Monday to Georgia. The Waves gave up 15 offensive rebounds in the first half and have a rebounding disadvantage of minus-11.1 a game this season. Point Loma, an NAIA school, doesn’t figure to pose much of a threat in the first meeting between the schools. Point Loma lost to Cal State Fullerton, 86-50; Pepperdine defeated Cal State Fullerton, 75-58.
