Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne (2-10) at Long Beach State (3-8), 7:30--The 49ers need a victory. Their six-game losing streak is the longest since the last five games of the 1997-98 season and the first game of 1998-99. It also matches the longest during Coach Wayne Morgan’s tenure. Long Beach played one of its best games this season but missed an opportunity to stun defending Big West champion UC Irvine, losing a 68-65 lead in the final three minutes. Sophomore forward Kevin Roberts has started the last three games and is averaging 11.5 in his last four. Fort Wayne is on a West Coast swing that included an 84-59 loss Thursday at Oregon State.

Cal State Fullerton (3-7) at Northern Arizona (6-4), 6--Fullerton plays the first of four in a row away from home and its final nonconference game. The Titans have little to show for their improvement, having lost their last two games by a combined three points. Guard Kevin Richardson has emerged as a consistent scorer. The senior is shooting 48% from the field and 48% from three-point range. Senior forward Josh Fischer has made 22 of his last 28 shots. Northern Arizona ended a three-game losing streak with an 18-point win over Montana Tech. Among common opponents, the Lumberjacks defeated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo by 22, while the Titans lost to them by one.
