Heidemarie Poe; Retired Broadway Sales Clerk
Heidemarie Poe, a retired sales clerk, died Sunday at her home in Oak View after a lengthy illness. She was 57.
She was born June 6, 1943, in Landau, Germany, and moved to Ventura County in 1961, living most of that time in Oak View.
She worked for 15 years in retail sales at the Broadway department store in the Buenaventura Mall.
After retiring in 1989, she spent her time with her family, pets and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Larry; sons Rick of Ventura and Dan of Oak View; mother Margot Lelle and sister Christa Dorne of Germany; and one granddaughter.
Private services are scheduled at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Assn. of Ventura County Hospice, 1996 Eastman Ave. No. 101, Ventura, CA 93003 or to the American Cancer Society, Ventura County Unit, 3737 Telegraph Road, No. D, Ventura, CA 93003.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura.
