Kristen Mann scored 12 of her 15 points in the second half Wednesday, leading 10th-ranked Foothill to a 60-53 victory over Mater Dei in a nonleague girls’ basketball game at Mater Dei.

Mann, who was held well below her average of 27.5 points a game, was slowed by an ankle injury suffered in the Edison Tournament of Champions. The injury forced her to miss Foothill’s previous two games.

Emily Beaubelle kept Foothill (9-6) in the game by scoring 12 of her 14 points in the first half, after which the Knights trailed, 29-24.
