In another Golden West League game:

Tustin 48, Santa Ana 42--Jamie Goodman scored 12 of her 18 points in the fourth quarter to help Tustin (8-11, 2-0) to the victory. Mayra Hernandez had 15 points to lead Santa Ana (4-11, 0-3).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Costa Mesa 49, University 48--Christine Caron’s 15-foot shot with 20 seconds left was the game-winner for Costa Mesa (10-8, 1-1).

In the South Coast League:

No. 2 San Clemente 63, El Toro 40--San Clemente’s Sara Brown, a transfer from El Toro, had 19 points and seven assists against her former team.

Carrie Twaddell had 11 points, eight blocks and eight rebounds for El Toro (10-4, 1-1).

In the Sunset League:

No. 9 Edison 63, Los Alamitos 60--Junior Rachael Ziemann had 20 points and seven assists to lead the Chargers (14-4, 2-0). Stephanie Duda had 35 points for Los Alamitos.

Huntington Beach 78, Fountain Valley 37--Amy Sanders had 27 points and a career-high 29 rebounds, the most in Orange County this season, for Huntington Beach (9-7, 1-1).

Sanders also had seven assists, as did teammate Amy Shaw.

In Empire League girls’ soccer:

Century 3, Katella 2 (OT)--Freshman Ana Lopez scored the game-winner two minutes into overtime for Century (4-7-2, 1-1).

In the Freeway League:

Troy 1, No. 9 Sunny Hills 1--Troy’s Katie Ratican scored three minutes into the game to put the Warriors (10-3-2) up, 1-0, and Sunny Hills’ Renee Garand scored off a corner kick to tie it, 1-1, in the 53rd minute.

In the Serra League:

Rosary 1, Lakewood St. Joseph 0--Lisa Fryer scored in the 61st minute off a Katie Lennon assist to win it for visiting Rosary (12-5-1, 1-1). Goalie Christina Fernandez made three saves and got her 10th shutout of the season.

In Freeway League girls’ water polo:

Sunny Hills 9, Troy 6--Roxanna McEwen had four goals, Shelma Jun had three and Emily Simensen made nine saves as Sunny Hills (11-5, 2-0) got its second league victory.

Jamie Wendell made five saves for Troy.

In the South Coast League:

No. 2 Capistrano Valley 10, No. 10 San Clemente 4--Amber Stachowski scored five goals, including three in the fourth quarter, and her sister Aimee added three for Capistrano Valley (9-1-1, 1-0).
