Anderson Returns at Grant

DeWayne Anderson, an all-league guard at Grant High who quit the team last month, has been reinstated, strengthening the Lancers’ chances of winning the Sunset Six League boys’ basketball championship.

Anderson quit without explanation and did not contact Coach Howard Levine for three weeks during the holiday break.

But this week, Anderson asked Levine if he could return. Teammates voted to let him come back and he practiced for the first time on Thursday.
