Woodland Hills West Takes Baseball Title

The Woodland Hills West American Legion 18-and-under division baseball team defeated Valley Chatsworth twice Sunday to win the District 20 tournament at Birmingham High.
Woodland Hills West (24-4) and Valley Chatsworth (24-4) each advance from the double-elimination tournament to the six-team Area 6 playoffs that run Thursday through Sunday.
The winner of the area playoffs advances to state playoffs Aug. 4-7 in Yountville.
