Sloppy JetHawks Lose to Storm

The Lancaster JetHawks (27-27) committed five errors and were defeated by the Lake Elsinore Storm, 9-7, in a California League game on Friday night at Lake Elsinore.
Xavier Nady hit his 10th home run and J.J. Trujillo recorded his 13th save for the Storm (39-16).

Former JetHawks Craig Kuzmic and Greg Connors combined for nine hits and 11 runs batted in for San Antonio (Mariners) in a 21-4 victory at El Paso.
Class A--Nathan Kaup (Camarillo) hit his 10th home run, 17th double and drove in three runs for Bakersfield (Devil Rays) in a 5-4 victory over Modesto. . . . Danny Phillips (Chatsworth, Northridge) had two hits for Salem (Rockies) in a 5-2 loss to Myrtle Beach. . . . Freddy Sanchez (Burbank) had two hits and Rick Nadeau (Kennedy) drove in two runs for Sarasota (Red Sox) in a 14-13 victory over Brevard County. . . . John Wilson (L.A.
