Andrew Good struck out eight in seven innings, but the JetHawks (19-17) lost to the Mudville Nine, 3-1, in Stockton. Former Glendale High standout Fernando Rios singled and drove in a run for Mudville.

Kevan Burns of the JetHawks leads the minors with a .753 slugging percentage and teammate Billy Martin leads the minors with a .513 on-base percentage and 31 walks.

Martin, who was 14 for 27 from April 30 through May 6, was selected the California League’s batter of the week. Tanner Erikson of the JetHawks was the pitcher of the week.
