Fire Causes $11,000 in Damage to Restaurant

The popular Japanese eatery Restaurant Katsu in Studio City was damaged in a moderate fire Monday morning when power lines fell onto the roof of the building, burning the attic and walls, authorities said.
No one was injured in the blaze, which started about 3:45 a.m. and caused $11,000 in damage, said Jim Wells, spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department. The fire is under investigation.
