SPUR NOTES
Robinson will have to take a pay cut if he wants to remain with the Spurs, team owner Peter Holt said.
Robinson, 35, made $14.7 million this season, the last of a six-year, $66-million contract. Holt wouldn’t say how much he’s willing to pay the 7-1 center next season, although it’ll be significantly less than $14 million.
“If he thinks it’ll be more than that, then we might have a problem,” Holt said.
Holt said he and representatives for Robinson have had preliminary negotiations, but Robinson said he wasn’t aware of any talks.
“I don’t think about that right now,” Robinson said before practice Thursday. “It’s not an issue for me. Finishing this year is the issue.”
