He certainly couldn’t have picked a better spot to drive in his second run. Hitless in his first four at-bats, he made just enough contact on a fastball from Mariano Rivera to bloop the ball over Derek Jeter’s head into short center, driving in Jay Bell, the original free agent to sign with Arizona, with the game-winning run.
