Long Beach has received good production from center Rudy Williams, who is averaging 16 points and 5.3 rebounds, guard Ron Johnson (12.7 points) and forward Travis Reed (11 points, 7.7 rebounds).
Charlotte beat Davidson in its opener before losing to Indiana, 65-61. Guard Jobey Thomas is averaging 15.5 points a game for Charlotte.
