Conservation Urged at Lake Mendocino

Mendocino County and water agencies are asking Sonoma County to reduce water releases from Lake Mendocino, which has extremely low levels.
“We are going to have a small mudhole shortly,” read the county supervisors’ letter to the Sonoma County Water Agency.
The lake had plenty of winter rain, but not enough spring rain to replenish releases.
