Glendale Softball Team Reaches World Series

The Girls’ Senior League softball team from Glendale (ages 13-16) defeated Washington, 18-0 and 5-3, Wednesday to sweep the best-of-three final of the four-team Western Regional in Butte, Mont., and advance to the World Series in Jeffersontown, Ky.
Glendale’s first game is against a team from Gladstone, Mich., the Central representative, on Monday.
