Trojans Can’t Duck Controversy

Share

Ah, the smell of college football is in the air and, as usual, the Trojan fans are stinking up the place. Don’t get your shorts in a bundle when a team you can’t beat places billboards around your “Trojantown” ( I know about Koreatown and Chinatown, but Trojantown is new to me).

The Oregon team is hitting real low because that is where you have been in the Pac-10 the last few years.

I find it laughable that some of you Trojans think, “They obviously respect what we have ... or they wouldn’t be doing it.” They don’t respect you, that is why they are doing it, bubble brain.

Stop the crying. Stop reliving your past glory days. Recruit the local talent and start beating these teams or just clam up.

So, there’s a big picture of some Oregon Ducks on a building in Los Angeles? The L.A. Times is owned by a Chicago newspaper, a local pro team by a Denver billionaire, and a few die-hard fans’ hearts still remain in Brooklyn!

Get a life, USC, and better start preparing for the game in Oregon on Oct. 26.

A state school, in a state that has no sales tax, yet spends millions in nationally marketing average football and basketball teams?

I have to borrow from USC Trojan George Lucas to explain the Oregon Ducks’ need for mass national marketing exposure, the phantom money menace Phil Knight. His ruthless plan to take over the world with Nike has included his alma mater, the Oregon Ducks.

Duck calls to all.
