Man With Gun Robs Bank in Thousand Oaks
From a Times Staff Writer
A branch of Union Bank in Thousand Oaks was robbed by an armed man Thursday night who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
The heist occurred about 6 p.m. in the 3800 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard, according to Ventura County sheriff’s officials.
The robber, who was wearing a blue baseball hat and showed a handgun to a teller, fled on foot.
Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the robber.
