Jordan Farmar, Woodland Hills Taft: Scored 49 points in a 67-66 victory over Inglewood and 29, including four of Taft’s six overtime points, in a 59-54 victory over Manteca East Union.
Darren Morrison, L.A. Price: Had 15 points for the Knights, the defending Division V state champions, in a 55-49 victory over Long Beach Poly, the defending Southern Section Division I-AA champions.
Kevin Crockett, Long Beach Wilson: Scored 25 points, including a three-pointer as time expired, in a 67-64 victory over Hacienda Heights Wilson, which was led by Mike Moreno’s 33 points.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Lani Marsden and Krista Arase, Alhambra Keppel: Marsden had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Arase made two free throws with 10 seconds to play to give the No. 25 Aztecs a 47-45 victory over No. 5 Brea Olinda.

BOYS’ SOCCER
Alan Ponce, Chino Don Lugo: Scored both goals in a 2-1 victory over Covina Charter Oak and three goals in a 5-0 victory over Baldwin Park.
Marco Pina, Anaheim: Scored the game-winning goal in a shootout victory over Long Beach Cabrillo and the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Fullerton.
