Share

Although Morning Snow didn’t get a chance to run for a $1-million bonus this month in the Los Alamitos Million, the Kindergarten and Ed Burke Memorial winner does hold the distinction of running the fastest 350 yards of the 2001-02 meet.

The 2-year-old filly went 350 yards in 17.35 seconds, the quickest time at what is the most often run distance for quarter horses at Los Alamitos.

The only track record set during the meet was by Classic First, who went 220 yards in 11.68 seconds several months ago.
