Headless Body of Woman Found
A passerby walking down an Inglewood alley found the headless and armless body of a woman Thursday, police said.
The discovery of the nude body, lying against a garage in the 2400 block of West Imperial Highway, was reported at 3 p.m., said Inglewood Police Sgt. Ray Lloyd. The body was found near the Gospel Temple Church.
Lloyd said it appeared that the woman had been killed elsewhere before her body was dumped in the alley. “It’s a pretty macabre crime scene,” he said.
Detectives were searching for the rest of the body, and said they still did not know where or how the woman died or who she was.
