Bail Reduced for Teacher in Sex Case
NEVADA

A Clark County judge reduced bail for a former California high school teacher charged with kidnapping a 15-year-old student and having sex with him in Las Vegas.
“Perhaps $280,000 is excessive,” Clark County District Judge Joseph Bonaventure said before reducing bail to $74,000 for Tanya Joan Hadden, 33.
Deputy Clark County Public Defender Jordan Savage said outside court that it was not clear whether Hadden could post bail. Hadden has pleaded not guilty to 19 charges in Nevada--including felony kidnapping, six counts of statutory sexual seduction and 12 counts of sexual conduct between a teacher and a student.
