Motorcyclist Dies in High-Speed Accident
A 23-year-old Camarillo man died Saturday after losing control of his motorcycle on a curving lakeside road.
The man, Alan D. Black, died about 12:15 p.m. at Ojai Valley Hospital, authorities said.
Black was speeding south on Santa Ana Road about 10:50 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve on the northern side of Lake Casitas, authorities said.
The motorcycle overturned into the northbound lanes and the rider was ejected. The victim’s speed at the time of the crash was estimated at 80 mph. The cause remained under investigation.
