Cal State Monterey (1-3) at Long Beach State (0-1), 7:30 -- Long Beach, which has struggled at every level, takes a crack at an NAIA opponent tonight. The 49ers committed 34 turnovers and lost their season opener at North Carolina Charlotte. They started the season with an exhibition loss to NCAA Division II Cal State San Bernardino. Former Culver City High forward Khi-min Jung scored 28 points for the visiting Otters in their last outing, a 90-88 overtime loss to The Masters.
