Morning Snow Tries to Stay on Track to Bonus

Share

One race away from going for $1-million bonus, Morning Snow is one of many talented 2-year-olds who will be competing in trials for the Los Alamitos Million tonight.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will move on to the 400-yard Million, which will be held two weeks from tonight. The total purse for the Grade I is $1,313,700, making it the richest race for any breed in California this year.

A Texas-bred daughter of This Snow Is Royal owned by Charles and Dixie Patterson and trained by Donna McArthur, Morning Snow is eligible for the bonus by earlier wins in the Kindergarten and Ed Burke Memorial futurities.
